This locomotive worked on the Interoceanic Railroad (Ferrocarril Interoceanico/F.C.I.) in the states of Veracruz and Puebla on a Narrow Gauge. In January 1948 it was rebuilt and converted to Standard Gauge in the Puebla workshops to work in the state of Oaxaca.
